There’s so much out there as far as information regarding health. Our culture has become one of obsession and its elusive object is health. Bring up health in a social setting and everybody, regardless of evidence of health in their own person or not will staunchly defend their knowledge, beliefs or ideas about health.
If we look at health as it exists today, in our society, it is both black and white data to the medical profession and conversational banter to our public. Health has become so common in our messages as received by mainstream media there’s almost a negative sensation or contraction when the conversation begins or we hear the word.
Where is the connection, the translation into form between what we experience as health and all of the knowledge that we gather?
Health by definition, is to be sound in body, mind and spirit. There is no separation between. This is common knowledge in eastern medicine and yet western medicine typically removes or separates mind and spirit from the physical. The focus is on healing the body.
Vibrant, by definition, is a pulsating, striking, bright and colorful energy. To become Vibrantly Healthy is to complete the translation, to create into form the evidence of health our culture clearly values above all else. If what we seek is evidence of health truly, then why are we not looking toward those who are clearly exhibiting it to see what they are doing in all areas of body, mind and spirit?
A Plant-Based diet, allows the body an opportunity to retrieve what it needs at that specific time from the bounty, variety and natural balance of micronutrients present in whole plant foods. It offers the body what it needs to heal itself through nutrition.
When we feel good about ourselves, when we take care of ourselves, offer ourselves what we need in healthy nutrition and our bodies respond in kind, our minds are lifted.
When our decisions and actions are aligned with what’s best for others, for kindness, compassion and the tender care of our natural world, as our environment, we complete the cycle as our nature, our spirit, exists to contribute.
Vibrant Health is quite tangible. It’s a complete feeling, not an idea or knowledge to be dissected. When we began a plant-based diet I would ask my husband, is this food magic? I’ve heard others ask the same question. The energy it gave was completely vibrant.
After years of seeking health, of reading and scanning the internet for that kernel of information or science, looking for the magic pill to bring health into my life, the discovery of a simple and most pleasurable plant-based diet, quite in opposition to my accumulated ideas and beliefs, delivered Vibrant Health into my life.
Simplicity is often disregarded in our society as if it lacks intellect or the ability to solve complex issues. In truth, simplicity is abundance, in both knowledge and experience. Simplicity is the intelligence of nature in action.
